Someone named each of these causes, so a matching gift was set aside for them. None of the five publishes a cryptocurrency wallet on its own website, and we will not send to an address we cannot verify on the organization's own domain. So each match sits at its own address, in that charity's name, until they tell us where to send it. The coins are real, they are on Ethereum right now, and you can check every balance below without asking us.
None of these organizations has asked for this, agreed to it, or endorsed Bremo. If any of them would rather we did not hold something in their name, it stops the day they say so.
A warning worth passing on. While checking these, we found a page impersonating one of these charities and publishing a wallet address that is not theirs. It sits on a free site builder, quotes the charity's real registration number, and dresses a blockchain link up as a donation receipt. It is not on the charity's own domain. If you ever want to donate cryptocurrency to any organization, take the address from their own website and nowhere else.
Correction, 2 August 2026. Two addresses on this page were wrong and have been changed. The Electronic Frontier Foundation was listed as 0x5554672e67, and the Internet Archive as 0x33DebB5Ee6. Both of those were the ENS resolution for the organisation rather than the address published on its own website. Our rule is that an address must appear on the organisation’s own domain, so the website address wins and both entries now match what those two organisations actually publish. The gifts recorded against the earlier addresses were really sent and are still on chain; this corrects what we publish, not what happened.
The BREMO amounts are read directly from the Ethereum blockchain, so they are the real balances at each address, not figures we typed in. That was not true of the five held balances in the section above until 2026-08-02. Those five were typed in by hand and were wrong by a factor of one thousand. They are now generated from the chain like every other figure here, and the correction is recorded rather than quietly overwritten. You can check any of them yourself with the link in each row.
This page used to show a dollar figure beside each gift, quoted live from a Uniswap pool. That figure has been removed. Bremo is given away and never sold, and a running valuation beside a gift implies a promise this project does not make.
No figure here is a valuation. A pool for BREMO does exist on Ethereum, and it was opened with BREMO on one side and almost no ether on the other, so there is very little in it to pay a seller with. Any price it quotes is not a floor, a promise, or a prediction, and it is not what a recipient could realise. The addresses and the risks are set out on the pool page.
A gift is not an endorsement. None of these organizations is affiliated with Bremo, and we will never imply otherwise. Any organization that would rather not be listed is removed the day it says so. Names are published only for organizations that publish their own donation wallet openly, never for private individuals.
The marks beside each name are simple monograms drawn by us, not the organizations' own logos, because using a charity's logo would suggest a relationship that does not exist.
